Senior Architect - Data Warehouse - IT

- Lead the Data Warehouse/Data Lake system architecture design and implementations/ enhancements

- Support and enable Data Sciences and Business Intelligence teams with necessary data repository, pipes and regular feeds.

- Monitor data platform to ensure reliability, consistency and accuracy of information loaded into the enterprise warehouse on a regular basis

- Analyse and document source systems data domains and inter-relationships to enable rapid ingestion into warehouse/ data lake environment and provision high quality and consumable data

- Assist in the development of internal policies / procedures/ standards/ controls and metrics

- Build and maintain high performing ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes

- Seek continuous improvement in performance of the data platform load and consumption processes

- Work cross functionally to implement data driven projects

- Work with external vendors, cross functional teams and data sources as required for planning, designing, implementing, testing, rolling out and management of Data platform projects.

- Effectively communicate and document the data platform architecture utilizing industry standards

- Manage and ensure data security, quality and process controls, managing escalations and developing and recommending improvements

- Implement / follow Agile and DevOps methodology and tool sets
