Experience and skillsets: - Prior exposure to business research/thought leadership in TMT industry - Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred (Technology / Semiconductors / Sports & Entertainment) - Overall 3 to 5 years of research experience, with at least 3 years in TMT industry - including strong understanding of major TMT industry trends, and their impact on companies globally, including ability to analyze the impact of current competitive, regulatory, marketplace issues and trends on the sector or industry; knows the industry's or sector's linkages to other industries and the economy, and vice-versa. - At least 3 years of experience in independently performing end-to-end research (company/industry research analysis in TMT industry): - Developing research hypotheses based on the identified research questions - Performing data analysis using specific research methods - Extracting/generating insights that validate the research hypotheses - Writing and presenting short/long-form deliverables that capture the key insights. - Ability to handle large datasets, and experience in one or more of the following research methods: Data modeling, financial analysis, quantitative/proprietary data analysis. - Proficiency in using one or more of the research tools/databases including Factiva, Thomson Research, Refinitiv Workspace, Gartner. - Solid skills in making strong presentations using MS PowerPoint; hands-on experience and working knowledge of MS Excel including knowhow of using several features to conduct data analysis/develop data models.
