Senior Analyst - Energy  JOB DESCRIPTION  JOB TITLE - Sr. Analyst ( Competency - Consultant)  ENTITY - ICRA Management Consulting Services Limited  LINE OF BUSINESS   DEPARTMENT - Energy Practice  LOCATION- Mumbai  SPAN OF CONTROL ( DIRECT/ INDIRECT)- Direct  GENERAL SUMMARY- 4 years plus experience and a mid-level professional in energy/power sector required to primarily lead/manage projects in areas of policy & regulatory. Additional experience in bid advisory, financial advisory, etc would be advantageous. Experience in the entire power sector value chain - Generation (Conventional & Renewable), Transmission and Distribution  General Purpose Lead and manage regulatory projects in power for clients such as Regulatory Commission, Power Utilities, Private Power Companies, etc.  The Role / Responsibilities:  - Lead regulatory projects of power sector clients, i.e., Regulatory Commission, Power Utilities, Private Power Companies.  - Comfortable to contribute/manage regulatory assignments including Regulation framing, MYT/ARR, tariff, business plan, etc.  - Develop and manage key client relationships for clientele in private power companies, government utilities, and regulators.   - Flexibility to work in additional areas such as bid advisory, financial appraisal, distribution performance monitoring, etc.  Qualifications:  - MBA (Finance)/ MBA (Power)/Chartered Accountant  - Preference to B.E./ B. Tech. (Electrical). However, Mechanical/Electronics may also apply.  Other attributes:  - 4 years plus of energy sector/ power & utilities consulting experience. Prior consulting experience is a must and the required 4 years plus experience should be a post-MBA experience. Pre-MBA experience can be apart from the post-MBA experience requirement.  - Expertise in financial modeling and should have led/worked with junior level teams
