Sr Analyst - M&A (RocSearch)

- Quickly come up to speed on the existing research process, databases, other commonly used information sources, and delivery templates.

- Decipher research briefs and implement an optimal research strategy to execute client requests leveraging M&A and Financial information databases such as Capital IQ, Market IQ, UK Company House Registrar, Bloomberg, Thomson Eikon, Factiva, and Industry Associations.

- Conduct extensive primary research to capture insights on niche sectors.

- Demonstrate creativity in building visually appealing and well-formatted slides.

- Apply a variety of qualitative and quantitative tools and frameworks to provide incisive insights and develop clear 'so-what's. Present key findings and address questions with clarity and confidence to your reporting managers.

- Maintain a high completion index on in-depth market studies, value chain assessment, macroeconomic analysis, target identification, target profiles, information memorandum reviews, comparable valuations, etc.

Candidate profile :

- BBA / MBA / BE with 2 to 4 years of experience in providing Company, Industry, macroeconomic, Financial, and M&A analysis to Corporate Finance / M&A Advisory / Strategy Consulting companies.

- Good understanding of financial concepts and financial statements.

- Proficiency in using M&A and Financial information databases, such as Capital IQ, Mergermarket, Bloomberg, Thomson Eikon, Market IQ, and Factiva.

- Excellent data presentation and synthesis skills with attention to detail and the ability to quickly absorb and interpret large datasets.

- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and switch between multiple projects during the day.

- A logical and meticulous approach to problem-solving.

- Strong oral and written communication.

- Excellent MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) skills
