Senior Analyst/Manager - Risk Analytics - BFSI

Job Summary :

- Enhance and improve the statistical techniques to forecast losses in Acq and ECM areas of Branded Cards portfolio

- Support tactical and strategic Risk Analytics projects.

- Independently manage development and implementation of effective tools to estimate credit losses

- Apply innovative analytical techniques in developing models to estimate losses Conduct analysis

- Apply subject matter expertise to the prioritization and planning of projects in effectively supporting business

- Must be able to effectively provide updates and communicate key initiatives to senior risk management.

- Analyzing tests and performance using SAS and simple regression techniques Evaluating effectiveness of tools on ongoing basis

Responsibilities:

- Must have capability to clearly develop and communicate analysis A good understanding of Credit life cycle and Collections/Recoveries for Credit Cards Business

- Must have hands on expertise in developing and managing tools for loss forecasting

- Presentations to both technical and non-technical personnel are required to be made frequently as part of the job.

- Ability to work efficiently in a matrix environment balancing between both business and functional interactions and priorities.

Qualifications :

- Undergraduate degree with a specialization in Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline

- 2- 5 years- work experience required

Skills:

- Experienced in developing, implementing and monitoring models used for forecasting losses for New originations and ECM Good programming skills in advanced SAS, SQL, Knowledge Studio, SAS E-miner in mainframe, UNIX and PC environments. Highly proficient in Excel/pivot tables and PowerPoint.

- Exposure to project/process management Strong communication and presentation skills targeting a variety of audiences A qualified candidate needs to be able to work with cross functional teams Flexibility in approach and thought process Strong influencing and facilitation skills.
