Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst - Investment Management

About Company - Global recognized leader in Financial & Technology based firm with Offices in New York, Hong Kong, Hyderabad (India), Kansas City, London and Silicon Valley is seeking dynamic and resourceful candidates to join their Financial Research (FinRes) group based in Hyderabad.

The role involves active collaboration with our institutional asset management group, focusing on portfolio strategy and trading.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst, you will work closely with front office teams, contributing to portfolio strategy and trading within the financial research domain.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing analytical and research tasks, conducting recurring and ad-hoc portfolio analyses, undertaking thematic research, and providing support for client-oriented analyses. Additionally, you will collaborate with traders to develop and maintain trader tools using Excel/Python.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Business Administration, CFA, or Business Analytics

- Two to six years of experience in quantitative research

- Proficiency in Python and experience in quantitative analysis

- Strong interest in financial markets and the ability to work with large datasets

- Demonstrated ability to develop analytical frameworks for problem-solving

- High attention to detail, critical thinking, thought leadership, and analytical skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
