Senior Analyst/Lead Analyst - Financial Research Group - Investment Management Firm

We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Research group based out of the firm's office in Hyderabad, India. The group works closely with the front office to provide high quality and in-depth investment research for the Firm's global proprietary trading strategies. This role involves working on the Convertible Arbitrage Strategy within the Financial Research group.

Primary responsibilities include :

- Analyzing corporate credit quality to arrive at an estimated rating for unrated companies across the US, European and Asian markets

- Preparing credit-focused notes to concisely reinforce opinions about industry/company/financials- specific nuances

- Reading, evaluating, and discussing key terms in credit documentation (loan agreement, bond indentures, etc.) including collateral packages, guarantee structures, springing maturities, etc. with front office

- Preparing notes quickly and reliably for new issuance's with the intent to evaluate the issuer's credit quality

- Monitoring existing positions by way of evaluating impact of earnings, M&A, and other transaction announcements.

PREFERRED :

1. Looking for candidates who have worked on a credit research of a company to work with a trading desk.

2. Candidates who have worked on research for companies with High Yield, Corporate Credit Research, Investment Grade.

- The ideal candidate should have an MBA in finance or equivalent qualification with 3 - 5 years of experience in corporate credit research.

- Exposure to the Asian Convertible bond market, along with familiarity with credit rating methodologies, will be an added advantage.
