Senior Analyst - Financial Planning & Analysis - Risk Adjusted Profit - BPO

Job Title: FP&A Senior Analyst- RAP

Division: Finance

Reports to: RAP / STI Lead

Core Purpose of the Role:

Lead the regional risk adjusted profit (RAP) modelling and reporting process including data management, model implementation, query management & process improvement

Reporting Lines: Reporting into Global RAP / STI Lead

Key Responsibilities:

- Query management around profitability metrics from regional finance and business stakeholders

- Maintenance of FAQs schedule to support query management across all regional teams

- Building and maintaining business profitability models

- Complete regular reports on profitability that will be scrutinized across the business

- Implement new methodologies and processes according to verbal instructions

- Establish consistent and efficient methods for reporting using enterprise systems

- Collaborate with a variety of internal and external parties (eg coworkers, users, other departments etc) for the purpose of providing and/or receiving data

- Effectively utilize global databases to obtain the right data

- Troubleshoot anomalies and improve models to best fit methodologies

Key Capabilities:

- Excellent Communication and time management skills

- Experience working with Excel, including macros and VBA, Essbase experience a plus

- Financial and business modelling experience

- Ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets

- Ability to work under tight deadlines

- Financial and Management Reporting experience

- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes

- Goal orientated, team player with ability to self start

Key Experience:

- 4-6 years experience of excel models and financial analysis

- Big 4 Accounting experience a plus

- Experience of working with and an understanding of the Finance function

- Experience working in a financial services firm, preferably insurance
