Senior Analyst - Equity Research - Construction/Real Estate/ Infrastructure Sector

Job Description :

- Attract and retain talent with-in the team

- Scale up research capabilities of the associates to take ownership of products / client relationships

- Mentoring the associates towards improving overall relevance and quality of research

- Build corporate image as a trusted equities house / partner for the companies under coverage and key individuals in client organizations

- Writing periodic research reports that help give clients a perspective on the coverage sector

- Meeting corporate and industry experts to enhance relationship and build expertise

- Communicating effectively, both in written and oral form - forecasts and views on the sector

- Interacting with external and internal clients and facilitating their decision making

- Come out with timely actionable ideas to generate revenues for the firm

- Facilitating interaction of corporate / industry experts with clients

- Ensuring that financial models are precise and robust to capture the various nuances and complexities of the sector dynamics

- Providing actionable ideas on stocks under coverage, given a certain change in business environment

Requirements :

- Should be CA / CFA / MBA

- Aptitude for research, especially understanding of business models and converting the same into effective / dynamic financial models

- Should have experience in Sectors like Infrastructure, Construction, Institutional, Real Estate etc.

- Ability to understand as well as communicate complex business developments in a simple and lucid manner

- Understanding of the financial markets and interplay of all the factors impacting Indian equity markets

- Modeling / Valuation skills

- Good understanding of accounting and taxation laws

- Relationship Management is integral to the role

- Decision Making skills

- Excellent inter-personal skills, communication and report writing skills

- Ability to communicate and interact with very senior level industry / government officials

- Ability to work under stressful and tight timeline situations
