Senior Analyst - Equity Research - Buy Side - Industrial & Capital Goods Sector

Responsibilities:

1. Research and make recommendations for sector under coverage study, analyze and opine on sector under coverage and companies forming part thereof with timely buy, sell or hold recommendations maintain and regularly update valuation sheet for the companies in the sector under coverage. Analyst must conclude 2-4 recommendations per month

2. Prepare research reports on management meetings, conference calls, new investment idea, quarterly results etc. Brief research reports covering updates on the company and sector concluding with view and recommendation on the company. Share takeaways and views on companies under coverage. Document takeaways from meetings.

3. Assist fund managers in managing equity portfolios study, analyse and opine on market, sectors and companies encompassing entire investment universe to generate equity ideas for the fund regularly review portfolio valuation monitor and regularly review performance of the fund vis- vis benchmark and peers. Prepare screeners for idea generation. Update systems to track portfolio weights w.r.t benchmark weights for different factors

4. Maintain compliance and give suggestions to enhance current processes or introduce new processes adhere to equity manual and all other specified processes for equity research. From time to time assist the business development teams to prepare presentation"
