Senior Analyst - Cost Accounting - CA - FMCG

Position : Sr. Analyst- Cost Accounting

Qualification : CA ( Maximum up to 4 attempts)

Experience : 4 to 6 years

Location : Gurgaon

Role Summary :

The purpose of the role is to provide support to Associate Manager Costing for all costing related activities in SAP as well as analysis on Delivered Cost improvement year-on-year, identify savings opportunities and develop plans to deliver them, and to reduce Extra Costs. The position also plays an important role in driving Cost Savings, Contract Manufacturing Cost Management and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities :

- Working on cost by SKU, Cost run for new SKUs, Cost run for Corplan/Re-roll of standards, Preparation of Cost cards including Contract Manufacturing costing data maintenance in SAP with 100% accuracy.

- Provide complete analysis on COGS on monthly basis

- Analysis of PPV, Inflation assumptions, actual commodity and forex inflation.

- Assist in Month end Closing Processes related to Costing

- Provide financial support in cost saving projects validation, help identifying opportunities and determine cost Impact

- Ensure SOAR compliance with respect to product costing

- Provide inputs and analysis on Delivered Cost

- Budget and Forecast of costing comprehensively broken into detailed components with 100% accuracy

- Handle statutory audit related to COGS

Desirable Experience :

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with post qualification experience of 5-6 years.

- Exposure to SAP is must with preferably Costing module.

- Previous work experience in a similar role with FMCG would be a definite advantage

- Expert knowledge in Excel

- Strong analytical skills

- Good communication skills
