Responsibilities:  - The individual will be responsible for the following :  - Perform compliance testing independently.   - This includes fieldwork, reporting and communicating results verbally and in writing to members of management.  - Perform procedures to ensure previously identified weaknesses have been remediated.  - Investigate opportunities for process improvements.  - Assist other members on the team regarding various aspects of Compliance testing  The candidate is expected to :  - Have excellent knowledge of Internal Control testing  - Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal; and  - Be proficient with using various Microsoft products including PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Word and with flowcharting software.  Preferred/Required Qualifications/Certifications :  - The individual should have about 3-5 years of experience in audit or have a compliance background.  - Additional qualifications such as CIA and CISA are preferred but not required.  - Candidates with a CA qualification and Big 4 audit firms would be preferred.  - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are imperative.  - Be familiar with US laws and regulations  - Prior experience in Regulatory, Operational and Contractual Compliance Audit is a plus
