Senior Analyst/Analyst - CIB Planning & Performance Team - Bank

Business Description: : 

- CIB Central Planning and Performance team is a key vertical within the CIB Central - Strategy & Business Planning team space of this global bank.

- The team is responsible for various senior management reporting/presentations involving meaningful financial analysis supported with observations/commentaries on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. The team plays a key role in the Annual Planning exercise for CIB as a whole by being the single point of contact for cascading Group targets to products, plan nos finalization, post planning analysis etc.

Role Description:

The role involves providing MIS and advanced analytics of CIB businesses, partner with stakeholder and CIB business managers on various analytics. Role involves decision support, Management reporting, Planning & performance management. Working on various analytics for Senior Management.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

- Develop and prepare performance reports e.g. Exco packs, Quarterly board review meeting packs (QBRM) for CIB, as well various routine and adhoc requests.

- Produce packs encompassing financial information like P&L, balance sheet and headcount

- Work closely with key stakeholders on various analysis adding value to senior management

- Interaction with business on an ongoing basis for understanding various monthly/quarterly variance analysis on P&L and Balance Sheet movements

- Continuously develop and apply technical knowledge on costs - P&L/ Balance-sheet/ RWA/ VBMs as applicable

- Work on other analytics within the team to understand different businesses

- Responsibilities will also encompass other recurring as well as ad-hoc project related work

Skills:

- CA/MBA in Finance with 3-4 years of experience

- Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills

- Strong financial analysis and management reporting experience

- Very strong analytical skill and ability to think laterally

- Eye for detail as you will be supporting CIB senior management /CIB leadership team.

- Experience in project management, who is highly organized and extremely accurate

- Highly motivated individual who is able to work to tight deadlines and without supervisions
