Senior Actuarial Analyst

Role and Responsibilities :

- The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in actuarial science and data analysis, with a proven track record of delivering complex actuarial projects.

- In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in Life insurance actuarial modeling and programming (Python/R) to support the development and implementation of cutting-edge actuarial solutions.

- This role is responsible for working in Life team of A&A, that works on developing life insurance products, developing pricing basis, creating profit test models, cashflow modelling, valuation models, asset liability management, solvency reporting, GAAP reporting, SCR/MCR calculations and optimization, EV/MCEV calculations etc.

Experience & Qualifications :

- Graduates or post-graduates in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance

- 4 years+ of Life insurance industry experience with extensive knowledge of R/Python

- Min 4+ exams passed as per new curriculum not including CB3/CT9 (Compulsory- CS2 or CM2)

- Design, develop, and implement actuarial models using Python/R to meet the needs of various business units and projects

- Experience/Knowledge of Life insurance Actuarial tools will be an advantage

- Experience in core actuarial activities like appraisal valuation, embedded value, pricing, product development, statutory reporting, economic capital, Solvency requirements calculations, IFRS17, actuarial model development etc.

- Strong research and analytical skills

- Good written and verbal communication, and a team player
