Senior Accountant - Logistics Firm - CA

We are looking for Senior Accountant (CA preferred) for a US based logistics firm having 7+ years of experience.

Experience:

- 7+ years of Accounting experience (CA certification preferred).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word).

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities.

Invoicing

- Supervise daily invoicing of 50+ transactions

- Mediator between India team invoicing and US Operations to solve issues, for example e.g. Govt contracting loads

AR

- Monitor Remittance emails for incoming ACH and wires

- Mark 100+ loads paid in the TMS system from the ACH, wires, and checks.

Carrier AP

- Process carrier pay of 300+ shipments every week.

- Perform Quick Pay to the carriers daily.

- Verify and Add carriers and their factoring companies to the bank daily.

Vendor AP

- Paying vendor bills on time. (Insurance, phone bill, internet, other utilities).

- Pay monthly rent and send reports to the vendor.

- Collect monthly rent from tenants and record it in QBO.

- Pay all the subscriptions manually (highway, greenscreen, Turvo, Freight 360, outlook,)

- Keep track of automatic payments (AWS, ADP, DAT, Hubspot, Instant AI, Lemlist, Linkedin, macropoint, notion, paddle, QBO, ring central, Rmis, seamless, sendinblue, webex, whimsical).

Reconciliation

- Perform reconciliation if necessary

- Supervision of reconciliation promptly.

- Perform Audit on monthly EFS and Relay to make sure carrier reps didn't miss any data entry or paid less or extra money.
