Client Details

Our client is an American Organisation within the financial services space that offers payment support to its customer as a part of their expansion in Chennai. They are looking to hire a seasoned finance professional with the right skill sets.

Description

- Ensure the Accounting and GL operations of all entities are properly handled including work outsourced to outsourcing service provider.

- Work closely and communicate with the outsourcing vendor GL team regularly through emails, calls and communicator to improve customer service.

- Ensure month end close is done timely and accurately.

- Ensure month end report is done timely and accurately by submitting accurate & timely monthly / quarterly flux reports.

- Ensuring all reconciling items highlighted in bank reconciliation are adjusted timely by outsource vendor.

- Run through the balance sheet reconciliation for assessing the correctness of the postings of accruals and amortizations.

Profile

- Execute Best of Class process and procedure.

- Execute on efficient, yet control robust, procedure for core accounting functions including General Ledger, Fixed Assets etc.

- Statutory, regulatory and other government and compliance agency reporting requirements including local, applicable laws and reporting standards.

- Desktop applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
