Senior Accountant Chartered Accountant Position - Senior Accountant - Chartered Accountant Experience - 1 to 5 years (Post Qualification experience) Department - R2R - General Ledger Team Location - Bangalore, India About the Position: Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform assigned month close activities and balance sheet reconciliations. This includes communicating and escalating issues in a timely manner. - Assist in investigating and resolving complex accounting issues timely and effectively. - Prepare and present quarterly balance sheet accounts flux analysis and quarterly close checklist (by coordinating with the various groups). - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tax, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, IT, cost accounting, etc.) to identify opportunities to improve and standardize accounting processes (i.e., reducing month close cycle, automate manual processes etc.). An individual in this role is expected to establish and maintain highly collaborative relationships with the key stakeholders and cross functional teams. - Proactively track any SAP issues that impacts the accounting function, and coordinate with IT and other functional owners to ensure timely resolution of identified issues. - Perform ad hoc analysis, as required. Technical skills: - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/ equivalent - Strong accounting knowledge ( US GAAP knowledge and experience would be an added advantage) - Experience in the GL function of a multinational enterprise and / intercompany accounting would be an added advantage - SAP ERP experience, is desired - Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
