Senior Account Manager - Channel Sales (Consumer electronics/Watches only) We are currently hiring a senior Account Manager to lead channel sales for a globally well known smart watches brand. Position is based in Bangalore for a candidate with at least10 yrs of experience in distributors management and an impeccable understanding of Modern trade in retail domain. Key responsibilities: Responsibilities : - Hit the sales target per assigned category/account. - Define Business development plan for the assigned category/account. - Lead channel partner to execute as per business plan - Collaborate with function team leaders(e.g.support,marketing,product marketing,sales administration) to execute the defined business plan. - Prepare regular reports to HQ in a timely and efficient manner. Channel Management: - Optimize the distribution channel to increase product availability. - Work with channel marketing team to refine the product display. - Identify new markets and customer needs for effective channel expansion. - Determine market entry strategies for new regions and channels. - Work with channel partners and prepare regular reports to HQ in a timely and efficient manner. - Prepare and execute annual reviews of distributors. Others: - Manage sales forecasts for the upcoming three to six months. - Significant domestic and international travel may be required. - Attend local trade shows & exhibitions-working with the Marketing team on new product launches and variety of other market communications initiatives.
