Seller Website Content Manager

Responsibilities-

- Preparing, reviewing, updating, and maintaining control of the website content; collaborating with subject matter experts

- Read , evaluate and correct written text for grammatical and typographical error and get it approved from internal stakeholders

- Liaise with Process owners to determine the composition of specific texts in a document

- Compare typeset proofs against original copy to identify errors or omission

- Use word processors and other specialized software to make changes on typeset documents

- Ensure pages are in the right order and not repeated or omitted

- Ability to identify and rephrase grammatical errors to ensure an error-free text

- Mark corrections highlighted by process owners and ensure they reflect on the master set proof

- Rephrase written text to ensure document structure and content are consistent

- Ensure illustrations are suitably captioned and referenced

- Attention to details

- Forward proofread materials for approval and publication

- Audits website during various sprints and ensure content is displayed as per the plan

- Continuously create and update help, FAQ, and other critical section

- Adept at working typesetters to publish comprehensible write-ups, FAQ, website help sections

- Analyse documents to ensure titles match list of contents

- Ability to translate content in multiple languages

Requirements :

- Strong perseverance, a high degree of initiative and independence with the ability to work with people from various backgrounds/cultures, coupled with strong views

- Customer and key partner interface skills

- Self-motivated with the ability to be productive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction

- Experience working in multiple consumer-facing industries into similar role

Key Skillset & Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree most preferably in English (Hons), journalism, or mass communication, or in a related field. Strong English writing skills

- Expert in website editorial standard proofreading practices, copyright procedures, and concept required

- Knowledge of Markdown and Git will be good to have

- Ability to swiftly grasp difficult technical concepts and translate them into words and image
