Here's what you- d be doing: Marketing Automation: We- re about to make a big push with Marketing Automation. We need someone who can both write good emails that meets the user's objectives and set up campaigns so the right message reaches the right audience at the right time. We could go on all day about how important finding a master at Marketing Automation, but you don- t have all day so... Client Management: We have external and internal clients looking for content-driven leads. So you might have guessed by this point, we need you to help manage the development of this content with our Content Team and keep everything delivering on time. Product Development: The website is a product, and developing that product to the point it delivers amazingly against the user's needs requires tag-teaming with the VP of Marketing in all facets of product development (including Q&amp;A - sorry about that in advance). Strategic Direction: Help the VP of Marketing with Market Research, Planning, and Implementation needed to nail what we need to do over the next 3 to 9 months. Testing &amp; Conversion Optimization: The VP fancies himself as a pretty good tester, but needs help gaining insights, test ideation, and implementing winners. You- d be helping him keep his ego inflated with big wins. Marketing Support: We have a Marketing Support Engineer that is awesome. He is fast, efficient, and needs to be fed with well-defined, meaningful work. Most of that work will come from you and there will be a piece that you will need to handle yourself (non-technical). Here's where you will work: Remote (anywhere in India). So, that's a perk! Here's your background: - Your English is impeccable, likely better than the person who wrote this. - Half of what you eventually do will not be on this description, and years from now you will reflect on how you taught most of it to yourself. You are someone who looks to hone your craft and work with the best, so you'll be proud of that - We are looking for someone who has been running around marketing teams and clients for at least 5 years, with hands-on experience setting up Marketing Automation campaigns. - You need to have - owned- efforts in the past and were responsible for, and successful in, moving things forward. - You have been client-facing with North American, British, or Australian groups for at least 2 years and used to dealing with their expectations (especially those demanding Canadian types). - You won- t need PPC knowledge, so leave that at the door. - If you have some SEO experience, that will be good to the point where you don- t counter SEO efforts, but you won't be hands-on either. - You are a team player who takes responsibility first and then figures out how to make it better second. You like to be around a team of like-minded experts to make things even better than you could do on your own.
