Security Manager - FMCG

We have been retained by a professionally managed limited FMCG company of Rs. 26,000 Crore for the recruitment of a “Security Manager” for one of their manufacturing plants at Haldia in West Bengal (near Kolkata).

Position: Manager - Security

Locations: Haldia

BACKGROUND TO THE POSITION

This is a replacement vacancy. The “Manager - Security” will be responsible for overall security setup of unit.

Job Dimensions:

Role – Manager - Security

Location – Haldia

Key Accountabilities:

Responsible for daily security operations to ensure zero error in security systems and procedures. Monitor performance of subordinates in the unit and ensure KRA’s are accomplished.

Main interactions:

Internal:

Administrative reporting to Unit Head, Functional reporting to Corporate EHS and Security Head

External:

Local authorities.

Competencies

Functional:

Sound understanding and knowledge to independently handle

- Overall security setup of unit.

- Movement of Man and Material in the unit.

- Shrinkage control and loss prevention in the unit.

- Training of security personnel.

- Security analysis to arrive at gaps in security systems and methods to improve.

- Liaisoning with civil and local administration.

Leadership:

- Good communication skill-oral and written English, Hindi and local language

- Energetic and enthusiastic-ready to accept challenges.

Candidate’s Profile:

Graduate preferably from Armed Forces.

Knowledge of computers, preferably worked in SAP modules

7 to 10 years experience in similar field.

Ideal age group will be between 35 - 40 yrs.

Candidate from edible oil industry will be preferred.

Compensation:

CTC between 5 to 6 lacs p.a.
