Security Consultant - Port/Airport/Hydrogen Project

We have opportunity with one of leading security services providing company based in Oman as Security Consultant

Note : Candidate should have experience in designing and implementing security plans, strategies with Airports / Ports / Hydrogen projects

Mandatory Certification

- PSFA (Post Security Facility Assessment) and PSFS (Port Security Feasibility Assessment)

- Security Risk Assessment is a Port Facility Security Assessment (PFSA) which will follow MTCIT and ISPS Code.

- Security Plan includes a Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) which will follow MTCIT and ISPS Code.

Purpose of the position:

- The security consultant will lead the project team including engineers and ACAD engineers.

- The security consultant will conduct site surveys, liaise with product manufacturers, and develop security system designs.

- The security consultant will be the company's focal point and take a lead on client and contractor meetings.

- He will also oversee contractors on site, providing reports and project documents.

Key Responsibilities

- Represent Company in a consistently positive manner

- Ensure all tasks are carried out correctly

- Provide all necessary reporting to management

- Day to Day Responsibilities and Duties

- Provide input into proposals and business development presentations

- Lead client meetings

- Create presentations and reports

- Research products, systems and technologies

- Liaise with product manufacturers

- Undertake detailed Security Risk Assessments including threat, vulnerability and consequence analysis

- Developing budgeted security system designs

- Oversee and review the creation of specifications, schedules and bill of quantities

- Providing detailed input to ACAD draftsmen

- Conducting evaluation on tender submission bids

- Compliance review of Contractor's final security systems design

- Review project schedules and monitor progress throughout project implementation

- Carry out QA assessment and supervision to ensure compliance with the tender specifications, industry standards and international best practice

- Lead site co-ordination meetings and project progress meetings

- Review of project weekly/monthly reports, minutes of meeting, method statements

- Certification of milestone payment applications

- Review and approve variation claims

- Supervise contractors during installation throughout project implementation phase

- Review commissioning plans, checklists and procedure prior to commencement of contractor commissioning

- Supervise contractors during commissioning phase, conduct snagging inspections

- Conduct Site Acceptance Testing on all security systems

- Approve as-built drawings, O&M manuals provided by Contractor post installation of security systems

- Review and approve system training plan proposed by Contractors

- Facilitate the handover of the systems to end users

- Creation of security policies and procedures for end-user

- Mandatory work experience with certification

- Must have a minimum of eight years' experience in security projects (Airports / Ports / Oil & Gas / CNI a plus), thorough knowledge of IP CCTV, AACS, PIDS and system integration.

- Experienced security practitioner with a recognized security qualification, particularly PSP

- You will ideally have professional membership of The Security Institute / ASIS or other recognised equivalent body

- Preparing Reports and doing presentation presentations

- Well versed with technical specifications

- Security risk assessments

- Physical security policies and procedures

- Certifications related to Risk assessment

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar

- Excellent standard of verbal and written English

- Strong command of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Confident in working in close liaison with clients, regulatory authorities and end users, taking the lead on client and contractor meetings.

- Experienced in conducting site surveys, dealing with product manufacturers, and developing security system designs.

- Practiced in supervising contractors on site, creation of reports and project documents.
