Security Architect - Technical/Java Architecture

We are hiring for a product based Client,Chennai(Through Remote -onboarding only)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Contribute to next-generation platform architecture vision. Drives and owns multiple technology initiatives for bringing Platform vision to life.

- Create and deliver on a long term road map for engineering efficiency.

- In addition to architecture experience, this role requires a strong focus on software security, setting the security objectives, technology roadmap, robust processes required for securing our infrastructure as well as protecting customer data.

- Technology branding and evangelism: As part of the Platform team, Share and evangelize the technology strategy with employees and/or customers/partners.

- Ability to mentor other tech leads in the organization.

- Be the go-to person for the security aspects of the organization.

Who are we looking for?

- Tech Architect with 12+ years of experience in Product-First Tech-First companies catering to global markets.

- Wide experience in Scale, Design and Architecture, API, Cloud Infrastructure, Tooling, and multiple frameworks

- Strong software security background is mandatory. Awareness in terms of SaaS security aspects, data isolation, encryption, keys management, etc is required.

- Strong background in security w.r.t. infrastructure is mandatory. AWS related security expertise is highly desirable.

- Awareness in terms of OWASP top 10, PEN testing, etc is highly desirable

- Awareness of PCI compliance aspects is desirable but not mandatory.

- Strong experience building products with micro-services based approach. Background in looking at existing application & coming up with a micro-services based architecture (including technology migration) is a plus.

- Programming background: Polyglot preferred with strong Java & related experience being mandatory.

- Very good background in AWS based technologies.

- Demonstrated Technology Thought Leadership, especially with the focus on software security.

- Someone who is able to influence a 100 strong organization with security & secure testing best practices without having the reporting relationship.
