Security Architect - IT

MindGen Solutions is a recruitment firm and specializes in hiring managerial and leadership talents across technologies and domains.

We have an opportunity for a Security Architect for one of our MNC client, which provides IT Services and is one of the world's largest consulting, outsourcing and professional services company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations and IT Application leadership team to design security solutions that support the business objectives as well as provide effective security risk management. Ensure the design of business solutions meets security mandates.

- Analyze complex projects to identify potential vulnerabilities, security control points, and risk mitigation measures to ensure compliance with Security Policy, Standards and technical security requirements.

- Consult on projects to provide security expertise on how to implement best security practices for application, database and system technologies

- Analyze complex systems architecture (application, network, system, and database, process) to identify design gaps and recommend security enhancements.

- Understand current as well as emerging security threats and design security architecture to mitigate threats where possible.

- Work with project stakeholders to identify appropriate security requirements, engineer practical security solutions and implement measurable security guidelines.

- Work with project managers and stakeholders to develop practical, effective implementation plans with measurable project milestones for all security solutions.

- Review current security policy and standards to ensure technical security requirements, guidelines and best practices are communicated and put into practice for each assigned project.

- Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analysis and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- 10+ years- experience in Information Technology and Security Architecture.

- Strong background within information security and security engineering, with hands-on experience of a diverse range of security technologies that include: multivendor stateful, non-stateful, and application firewalls, HIDS, NIDS/NIPS, Wireless, NAC, SSL and IPSEC VPN's, DLP, SIEM, PKI/Strong Authentication, database technologies, load balancing, encryption technologies, mobility security, end user computing security, cloud security, Network security, and OS vulnerability scanning tools and management.

- Extensive technical knowledge in core domains of IT Infrastructure such as Data Networks, Server and Desktop hardware and Operating Systems, Messaging, Collaboration, Storage and Backups, and related monitoring and management systems.
