Securities Lending - Investment Bank

Opening with a Leading Investment Bank based out of Mumbai.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Stock Loan trade analysis along with maintenance of company’s over borrows, recalls and refinancing to improve efficiency.

- Hedge fund rate and availability analysis to provide better services to the client by maintaining consistency and accuracy.

- Booking the hedge fund shorts through auto-borrows daily into the trading system and analyzing the most appropriate fee to charge them.

- Running the internal shorts book daily and analyzing through different methods like rehypothecations, internal borrows or lender borrows to cover these shorts.

- Covering the shorts of proprietary accounts based out of the New York and competently charging the proprietary desk.

- Interacting with traders onshore on a daily basis and developing reports and processes to further create P&L for the desk.

- Analysis of the daily losses of the desk and loss making trades to the hedge fund along with rectifying them to create profit for the desk.

- Maintaining the recalls for the desk

Education:

- CA/MBA from top tier Institute

- Experience: 1-5 years
