SecureNow - Head - Accounting

Summary Of The Job :

This role includes overall responsibility of the company's accounts. Account Head would be required to lead finance operations and take responsibility for all financial aspects of the company.

Roles & Responsibility :

- Prepare and ensure timely delivery of accurate and complete financial statements

- Coordinate with all concerned agencies e.g., statutory auditor, internal auditor for periodic inspection and reporting

- Ensure all regulatory filings are done timely including returns to IRDAI, service tax, TDS etc.

- Develop periodic MIS reporting on important metrics e.g., segment revenues, debtors ageing, accounts payable, provisions etc.

- Manage full life-cycle of accounts receivables including invoicing, revenue reconciliation with insurers, payment reconciliation, and collections

- Process pay roll for all employees, and manage related regulatory filings including necessary compliances e.g., Provident Fund, ESI, Gratuity rules, etc.

- Supervise a team of accounts professionals to deliver on the above tasks and ensure strong control & processes

Candidate Background :

- The candidate should have 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in accounts function

- The candidate should have advanced working knowledge of Indian accounting, tax laws and statutory provisions

- The candidate should be familiar with accounting systems such as Tally, QuickBooks

- Insurance experience is not a must
