Search Consultant
Looking for a Chief Delivery Officer and Leader search consultant for our organization.
- We are an IIT/YALE/ McKinsey alum founder promoted search firm, early stage, cash positive, have delivered over 80 mandates since inception. We are a niche, high impact, full-service search, and recruitment firm, and come as institution builders for organizations. We engage with large and small size organization, work at a founder level, to define the talent agenda of the companies, and hence find the best talent for the organization.
- We are looking for a senior person to join as a team as a delivery leader. If you have a passion for recruitments and search, are looking to build something, are ideally coming from a NON-HR background, and are just pained with the idea of talent hiring, are an HR person and just struggling the way some vendors work, we are interested in you.
We bring a fresh perspective on search firms- where we are partners and not vendors, and we have been able to do it.
Role:
- You will work with the founder, as the delivery leader. You will be responsible for closing on mandates with a small team. This is a get your hands dirty role - where you will be also making calls along with your team. To begin with the role will be high on delivery - and over time, it can become high on management.
- Delivery is defined as your ability to close mandates. You will be supported by a junior team which will help you co-ordinate, but building client relationship, identifying candidates and closing mandates, the entire process will be managed by you independently.

Skills you need:
- Detail orientation
- A desire to be a coach to people- helping them make career choices
- A desire to help organizations figure out the best way to structure their organization
- Ease of making cold calls and taking rejection
- An absence of ego- to be able to speak to someone with 3 yrs experience vs 30, with an equal amount of enthusiasm
- Curiosity about industries and how they work
- An ability and desire to simplify complexity - in JD's as well as roles
- Ability to sit on a desk for 3-4 hours a in day, making calls
- Ability to go upto clients and open and close new business
The experience we are looking for:
- Search and matchmaking- via LINKEDIN and databases
- Exposure to search and recruitment environment will be helpful- not critical
- Business development and delivery experience
KPI:
- Mandate Closure rates
- Direction setting
