SDE III / Architect/Principal Architect

We are hiring for an innovative & unique eCommerce Product based Companies for Bangalore/Hyderabad/Delhi/NCR location.

We are looking for architects who have a super strong hands on experience with minimum 8+ years of experience .

What we would like you to do :

- Be responsible for driving technology and best practices in Engineering

- Work closely with a team for a long duration, not as a consultant but as a hands on contributor. We believe that the responsibility of the decisions and choices made by a PA must be seen through the development and evolution of the product.

- Be accountable for the impact of your decisions.

- Responsible for scaling, performance, and availability and quality of the products.

- Code! Actively participate in development along with team members for as much as 50% of your time, creating modules and systems that can then be treated as a working reflection of the best practices.

- Drive code reviews, design reviews architecture discussions.

- Set up best practices to help the team and drive the adoption of these best practices around coding, design, quality, performance in your team and influence them for the entire organization are also expectations from you.

- Drive a culture of curiosity and active debate around technology

- Experiment with new and relevant technologies and tools, and drive adoption while measuring yourself on the impact you are able to create

- Be an evangelist for technology and represent in external forums.

- Creating architectures and designs for new solutions around existing and new problem spaces

- Have taken large technology decisions, core to the products that you have been associated with

- Be comfortable working in fuzzy environment where boundaries are not clearly defined

- Be the technical mentor to your team.

What experience we like you to have :

- Excellent Problem Solving skills for complex and large scale problems.

- Technical Breadth -Exposure to a wide variety of problem spaces, technologies.

- Very Strong System design and OO skills with a nifty ability to craft clean interfaces and operate at the right levels of abstraction.

- Solid coding skills with ability to drive teams through massive refactoring exercise and improve coding standards across large code bases.

- Deep knowledge, understanding and experience of working with a large variety of multi-tier architectures.

- Awareness of pitfalls and use cases for a large variety of solutions.

- Deep understanding and experience of high performance web scale and real-time response systems with

- Experience and expertise in a variety of large scale persistent systems including large databases.

- Exposure to complete product development cycles From inception to production to scaling up, supporting new requirements, re-architectures the Principle Architects should have seen it all and ideally in multiple cycles.

- Should have been part of scalable product development cycles with either large data handling or large transaction processing exposure.

- Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and technical innovation.

- BTech, MTech, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
