Experience :
Specific experience will include :
- A minimum of 1- 4 years of progressive industry and/or consulting experience in the Financial Services sector post MBA
- Detailed understanding of a select vertical within the banking industry, along with products, channels, and key drivers.
Candidate may have exposure to one/more of the following areas :
- Credit cards
- Liabilities products
- Wealth management
- Branch banking sales and operations
- Customer portfolio management/cross-sell
- Insurance sales and marketing
- Online Sales Channels
- Experience creating and implementing sales and marketing strategies towards driving volumes and attaining higher profitability.
- Consulting or functional experience in Strategy and Business Planning for Financial Services practice, with focus on:
- Product and market entry strategy
- Sales strategy and operations
- Marketing strategy
- Sales compensation strategy and process (for both employees and channel),
- Sales model design
- Sales force effectiveness
- Channel strategy and effectiveness
- Partner relationship management
- Experience creating / revamping sales models in response to market requirements.
- Defining and Managing sales forecasts, experience tracking and communicating progress against the annual operating plan
- Experience managing Sales in a multi-channel / multi product / multi location set up.
- Experience working on a large-scale Business / Operational Transformation project desirable
- Experience managing an online sales channel for financial services products
- Strong analytical and logical skills.
- Strong program management skills
- Advanced user of excel, including macros.
- Experience with financial, market or organizational analytics, with additional experience focused on Sales Analytics.
- Experience working with - C- level executive clients
- Experience in or interaction with other geographies is desirable
