Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Iron Products/Scrap Iron Trader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling iron products and scrap iron, with a deep understanding of the steel industry. As a Trader, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients in large and medium steel companies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities:

- Identify and approach potential clients, build relationships, and maintain regular contact to understand their needs and requirements.

- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive market prices.

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of iron products and scrap iron according to client specifications.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth and adapt strategies accordingly.

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and operations to ensure smooth execution of sales transactions.

Requirements:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in selling iron products/scrap iron; 6-10 years of experience preferred.

- Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets in the steel industry.

- Strong understanding of iron products, scrap iron, and the steel manufacturing process.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.

- Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.

- Familiarity with market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor analysis.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
