Summary: Presales Head is responsible for designing solutions / leading a team in providing solutions for Supply Chain GBS / Outsourcing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of E2E Supply Chain Services and able to provide compelling solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or other relevant work experience
- Certifications like ISM - CPSM, APICS-CSCP or similar supply chain certifications a plus
- 15+ years of experience in business consulting & Solution design
- Proven experience in SCM services with deep functional knowledge in Order Management & Fulfillment, Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management, sourcing & procurement with deep function knowledge in source to contract
- Proven track record of success in leading and managing complex projects
- Experience in leading workshops in Design thinking or other consulting methodologies
- Knowledge of SCM platforms processes and data, and business operations & Procurement platforms (e.g. Ariba, Coupa etc,) processes and data, and business operations
- Having knowledge of E2E supply Chain function - plan, source, make, deliver and return would be added advantage
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Design Supply Chain Services (Order Management & fulfilment, sourcing & procurement) across multiple customers
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to develop compelling business cases for outsourcing.
- Experience in Delivering or Selling Supply Chain services (Order Management & Fulfillment, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, sourcing & procurement) is important
- Responsible for building New existing Customer relations and New Business Sales with focus on Value Articulation and Right Positioning of Solutions and Services
- Create responses for RFPs/RFIs and creating winning theme for supply chain services
- Prepare solution as per client requirement and Solution defense for outsourcing
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase Pipeline/ revenue.
- Lead the sales team and ensure that they meet their targets.
- Responsible for Demand Creation, Demand Capture, Driving Opportunity Pipeline & Management, and managing Sales Cycles to meet Sales Targets
- Create FTE estimation, Location strategy, Transformation roadmap, transition plan and conduct due diligence for validating the solutions
- Support in creation of SOW and contract negotiation.
- Review MSA/contracts for onerous (critical) clauses before signoff. Flag off risks to mitigate
- Analyze Industry/Macro economic trends on a defined to fine tune solution/delivery strategy
- Hand over to delivery and hand hold where required till the project is on steady state.
