Qualification: B.E/B.Tech or MBA  Experience: 2 to 6 years (With pharma industry)  Responsibilities:  1. Procurement Planning & Review:  - Understand project requirements after approval of the Project (budget approval from Finance) and identify critical item &long lead times items required for a particular project; Consolidate requirements (in case projects are running in parallell) to get better pricing; Allocate SPOC to each of the projects; Develop procurement strategy(benchmarking for pricing, best payment terms) for all kinds of equipments; Participate in quarterly review with project teams and provide inputs to projects for planning in advance; Maintain relationships with contractors to ensure continuous un-interrupted operation; De-bottleneck the issues related to procurement(Critical spare management, Vital-Essential- Desirable Analysis,etc);Interact with SPC(monthly) to address for pending Purchase Requisitions and pending deliveries and service related issues;  - IN ORDER TO ensure proper planning for timely procurement of material leading to no down-time  2. Equipment Procurement:  - Identify technical specification required for the particular project with project team(Project Incharge); Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with approved vendors in consultation with Project team and get the approval from the Project Incharge(URS-User Requirement Sheets stating technical requirements forwarded to Vendors); Release the final order and monitor delivery of the product; Address issues and escalations(ex-delayed supplies,post delivery support,etc) by directly interacting with Head-ESD and Vendors; follow-up with GBS for processing of timely payments to the Vendor;Monitor any changes in pricing and take decisions on prices(involve TL in case of critical items   - IN ORDER TO identify and fulfil project requirements in most effective and efficient way(at min cost)  3. Vendor Management:  - Review vendor assessment and evaluation reports prepared by Buyers (MIS); provide feedback to vendors about delivery performance; Review vendor audit reports and take corrective action(whether to shift to next vendor, de-bottleneck problems by providing assistance to vendors); periodically(monthly) make market visits(visits to OEMs, vendors) to identify new vendors and pricing trends along with SCM, Projects and Central Engg Team and get final approval from Project Head  - IN ORDER TO maintain long term and mutually beneficial relationship with vendors  4. People Management:  - Conduct goal setting, performance appraisals and mentoring/ coaching for team members; collaborate with HR in manpower planning, recruitment activities and talent development efforts; provide training to team members on new processes when required   - IN ORDER TO maximize retention and performance of team members  Pinki Negi  GCMS
