SCM Planning & Optimization Specialist - Manufacturing

Position: SCM Planning & Optimisation Specialist (Leading MNC Manufacturing Company)

Role:

- To independently handle the following tasks using algorithms and an SCM/ Optimization tool with interfaces to SAP ERP in a large process manufacturing industry with multi-site operations & distribution

- Demand Planning

- Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling

- Production Planning Optimisation

- Distribution network planning

- Distribution network optimisation

- Forecasting

- Product Availability

- Build data models and algorithms to achieve the above

- Define constraints and optimisation rules

- Build Cost and Capacity Models

- Build Scenarios

- Do what-if analysis

Requirements:

- BE/ BTech + MBA (Preferred)

- 5+ years industry experience in Sales & Operations Planning, of which 2+ years hands-on working any SCM-Optimization Tool with specific experience in Supply Chain & Distribution Network Modeling and Optimization involving multi-site Operations

- Should have worked in a large Manufacturing Company having multi-site Operations and multi-warehouse distribution Network

- Should ideally have worked in a Continuous Processing Industry : Steel or other Metals, Chemicals, Paper, Paints, Cement, Fertilizer etc.

- Integration knowledge of SAP ECC and Optimization Tools
