Required Experience:
- Experience in handling supply chain operations such as vendor development & management, contract finalization, material planning & purchasing, logistics and inventory & warehousing.
- Deft in formulating sourcing strategies, addressing operational issues, resolving performance bottlenecks and achieving revenue and profitability objectives; Demonstrated expertise in strategic, analytical & operational execution and management of initiatives.
- Effective communicator and skillful negotiator, who build, lead and guide high performing teams through series of team management initiatives including identification of right resources, training & mentoring and performance management
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Direct the activities involved in the purchasing and procurement.
- Strategically plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy for the organization
- Develop vendors, manufacturers to keep updating data for next future processing and purchasing and track their performances in terms of supplies commitment as per agreed contract terms.
- Agree with senior management on the key supply chain metrics and report on achievement of those KPIs against set targets.
- Suggest solutions for process improvements and efficiencies in the supply chain.
- Identify supply chain process bottlenecks and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Determine the best procurement strategy that meets the Company's requirements including analysing / proposing counter strategies to minimise price variances on Company's bottom line.
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors.
- Prepare for procurement budget using 0 base to ensure minimizing the cost with regular monitoring.
- Establishes annual goals and objectives, KPIs (including stretch targets) in coordination with corporate objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment.
