SCM Finance Head - FMCG - CA/ICWA

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Leading the SCM Finance Process, Governance and Risk Management, Handling of Audits and assurances, DOA compliance, Preparation of Budgets and driving execution, MIS reporting, Cross functional co-ordination with brands controllers, sourcing team and other related stakeholders.

Key Deliverables:

- Establishing processes and polices for SCM Finance

- Establishing DOA and ensuring DOA compliance related to SCM Finance

- AOP, Short-term and long-term planning for COGS

- Inventory management

- Tracking and controlling of warehouse and logistics costs

- Financial forecasting and building forecast models for increase/decrease in expenditure, analyzing and demand planning

- Wastage tracking, analysis and reduction

- Build an optimize Inventory Levels for raw material, packaging, capital items through region wise inventory levels

- Capex Budget preparation, tracking and control

- Taking up cost savings initiatives and optimize costs and margins of key products

- Monthly MIS preparation - Cost Variance Analysis, Price inflation outlook and impact, Cost of Sales trends and analysis, inventory trends, consumption trends, sourcing opportunities based on vendor/region benchmarking

- Building AOP for price inflation and its impact on gross margins

- Analysis of ideal vs actual consumption variances

- Analysis of food cost in terms of price and quantity variance

- Review and approval of Category level Inventory procurement rate contracts

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: - CA/ICWA

Experience: - ~10 years of rich experience in handling related activities with SAP

Industry - Food & Beverages Preferred

Skills/Competencies:

- Experience in setting up the end to end SCM finance process

- Proficiency in advanced excel and power point.

- Hands on experience in SAP

- Good Financial Analytical skills

- Experience developing financial reports and metrics

- Experience in Automation of processes and Dashboards
