About Schoolguru: Schoolguru was born in 2012 with the noble vision of revolutionizing the way Open and Distance Learning (ODL) is delivered to higher education students in India. The leadership team of Schoolguru discovered the underlying potential to improve the learning outcome for several million students who enroll into these ODL programs. Starting with a team of five members, we have grown into a team of 125+ employees, spread across 11 locations. The services of Schoolguru are used by Universities not only in servicing their ODL students but also making them employable and assisting them in getting employed. Role and Responsibilities : - The incumbent will be the head of Hiring and Placement cell of Schoolguru and shall be responsible for putting our specially trained students to On-Job-Training (apprenticeships) or Employment. Some of the responsibilities would also include: - Shall be leading a Revenue Business Units - Planning of the budgets and executing that - Demand aggregation from local industries - Build a network of channel partners for placement of the students - Building a team of recruiters to ensure that the trained students get their committed positions - Coordination with candidates for the open positions - Handling all administrative processes for the student placement - On-boarding and induction of the students Behavioral skills : Communication skills/ team leading - The candidate should have led a team of recruiters and played a significant role in organisation building with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience. - Should be able to manage a team of Placement Managers located across the country at different Universities - Update and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes) - Reviewing and supervising the placement team and report on its performance - Keep track of WorkX placement drives to be undertaken with the University as per the calendar - Network with Corporate clients to aggregate open positions Functional/Technical skills : - Experience of Hiring large number of candidates at the entry level - Experience of handling end-to-end recruitment process - Leadership skills to build and manage a team - Revenue target orientation - Experience with candidate screening and evaluation processes - Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills Experience Required : Min. 10 years of experience in Hiring/ placement / recruitment. CTC range for this position : 9-15 LPA Fixed + 6 LPA Variables (This shall also be dependent on the previous/current remuneration of the candidates)
