We are looking for candidates having 11+ years of experience in handling Business Development in the Education Sector, However, Candidates with exposure to the Higher Education Industry, or IT - Software Sector in a Sales/BD Role (B2B) may also apply. Job Description : - Sign up new universities and build market reach by locating, identifying, negotiating and closing business relationships - Identify the prospective universities to whom SG services can be offered - Make presentations to the key officials of the university to get their consent - Negotiate with the decision makers - Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations - Participate in tenders, apply for the relevant tenders and work on them for closure - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Functional/Technical skills: - Excellent communication skills (Oral and written) - Excellent business acumen and analytical skills - Experience in Business Development role preferably with government agencies - Well versed in government processes like tender / EOI - Experience in dealing with higher educational institutions is preferred - Should be aware of the new education policy framework - Knowledgeable of the organizational structure in higher education institutions - Must have exposure to Online education Behavioral skills / Communication skills/ negotiation skills - Should be able to work independently - Dynamic, pleasing and impressive personality - Good negotiation and presentation skills - Speaking and reading knowledge of Bengali and Hindi Salary Offered : Annual package of 12 Lakhs of Fixed and 5 Lakhs of Variable This is also dependent on candidate's last drawn compensation!
