We are looking for someone with the drive, passion and the go-getter attitude needed to develop and lead the profit center for SchoolGully.com. A successful applicant will need to have strategy around and ability to:

1. Strategize on how and with whom to form alliances

2. Reach out to such prospective partners and form alliances

3. Generate ideas on how to improve the product offering and take action

4. Create a plan to market our offerings to target audience

These are the key responsibilities, but as is true for any startup, the roles can never be exactly defined. Everybody needs to be capable of handling everything to an extent and everyone needs to take a lead. We are therefore looking for someone who is able to drive the business rather than just do their job.

We are not looking for an employee, we are looking for a partner. This is therefore an equity based position with equity ranges from 20% to 33% for the right candidate.

The problem that we have embarked upon solving at present is of school admissions in India. We will be launching our website Schoolgully for the location of Delhi, by May End. The website will simplify the admissions process for parents by providing them a single platform with complete information about schools. Here parents will not only be able to research and compare schools side by side but also find the complete admission process and results. By our calculations, if used properly, this website will reduce parental running around for admissions by 95%. You can only imagine, how much stress it will reduce.
