Are you passionate about building a company and have lived marketing over the last 4-5 + years. We are looking for a co-founder who can help us build a team and run our sales and marketing + lead gen efforts. Over time, this person could evolve to a chief commercial role, accountable for marketing and sales.

What's on offer - 10-15% equity in a company which could be the next big thing in EduTech. This is not a job but an option to own the future unicorn in Education.

About us: Group of IIT-IIM-IIIT alumni with ~40 years experience - have been working on ScholarSpace for the last 2 years. Product is ready with first 50 thousand users in sight. Aim is to get 20 Million users in the first year.

What is needed of you:
Not needed to join full time now, 20-30 hours a week to drive the team is sufficient. Would need to join full time once we raise the first round which will be within a year.


One year investment appetite to support a team of 3-4 to drive marketing efforts (1.5 to 2 Lakhs pm x 12).


Responsibilities -

1. Strategy, Blueprint & Delivery:

- Develop marketing strategy which will be heavy towards Content marketing to distribute SS product and demand gen campaigns

- Detail out the strategy into multiple initiatives and build a team

2. Product Marketing:

- Define the overall plan for product marketing team

- Refine and develop the website home page (all screens)

- Build content to explain key highlights, customer problems that are solved, and how to effectively use all the modules.

- Design rich content & marketing collateral's including white papers, case studies, testimonials, brochures and customer videos

3. Lead Management:

- Create a roadmap and lead SS participation in various events such as Seminars, Tradeshows, Conferences, Demos etc.

- Establish an understanding of customer use cases and design CTAs on the platform for effective nurturing and assignment to sales team

- Design a process to capture inbound leads and assign them to the sales team

4. Partnerships:

- Develop and execute the partnership strategy


- Exposure and experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing and sales function management are prerequisite for being successful.
