Main overview of what the job entails and aim towards

The clean energy micro enterprise development program in an innovative initiative under Schneider Electric Access to Energy program, which aims to build a network of microenterprises to promote clean energy products and solution to solve the challenges of people living in rural and peri urban areas without electricity or with unreliable electricity for household and for activities supporting livelihood. Each of these microenterprises will be established and run by an enterprising youth from underprivileged background. We aim build a network of 1500 clean energy micro enterprises during next five years.

Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Program Manager, who can contribute to development and deployment of strategy to grow the network of Clean Energy Micro Enterprise to reach our ambition of 1500 clean energy micro enterprises over the next five years, each managed by enterprising youth .

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the establishment and growth of the Clean Energy Micro Enterprise Network

- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities and overcome challenges in promoting clean energy products and solutions in rural and peri-urban areas.

- Define the end-to-end business model and digital strategy for Clean Energy Micro Enterprise Network.

- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to ensure program success and sustainability

- Monitor and evaluate program performance, providing regular reports and making strategic adjustments as necessary.

- Manage program budget, resources, and timelines effectively.

Qualification and Skills:

- Master's degree in business administration / rural management / BE or ME

- Candidate must have entrepreneurial mindset.

- Experience in establishing and managing social enterprise startup will be an added advantage.

- The candidate must have experience in solving social challenges through market-based approach.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.

- Passion for driving social and environmental change through innovative business models.
