The Scheme and Discount Trend Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing promotional schemes, discounts, and pricing strategies for our liquor products. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, market knowledge, and a keen understanding of consumer behavior to drive sales while maximizing profitability. What will you do day-to-day? - Evaluate the effectiveness of current promotional schemes and recommend improvements. - Analyze historical data to identify trends and insights that can inform future scheme development. - Monitor discount levels across various channels and products. - Analyze the impact of discounts on sales volume, revenue, and profitability. - Recommend discount strategies to attract customers without compromising on profitability. - Stay updated with market trends, competitor pricing, and promotional activities. - Identify opportunities and threats in the market that could affect our pricing and discount strategies. - Develop sales forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotional activities. - Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align forecasts with business objectives. - Create regular reports detailing scheme and discount performance metrics. - Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders. - Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment of pricing and promotional strategies. - Provide insights and recommendations to support cross-functional initiatives. What are we looking for? - Education: Either CA/MBA/BCOM - Experience: 2 to 3 years - Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in the liquor or FMCG/Manufacturing. - Extensively worked in preparation of MIS/Dashboards and data analysis tools/software. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
