Reporting to: Senior.Product Manager Department: Professional Services Job Location: Gurgaon, India Job Overview: - Development and enhancement of software solutions. - Prepare business requirements, use cases, functional and UI specifications, and design. - Partner with the functional, software development, testing, and implementation teams to develop software features and functionalities, resolve issues, define requirements, and implement solutions. Accountabilities / Responsibilities: - Translate business and functional requirements from the Internal/External stakeholders into software solutions. Work towards proposing long term generic solutions for Product releases. - As a part of the Business Process Re-engineering phase of the project, do requirement collection and analysis, fit Gap Analysis for software processes, document - As-is- and - To-be- processes, analyze business requirements and propose best-fit solution and process while maintaining the integrity of existing applications. - Understanding customer requirement and solutions, documenting the requirement with the product team for development - Understanding changing requirements and adapt to the software delivery goal and plan - Work on Product and Custom features of the software and take full ownership of writing functional specifications and system design specifications, including the use case documents. Do design walkthroughs to different teams and ensure that the requirements, specifications and design are clear and go into the development. - Create excel models to represent the solutions and calculations wherever required. - Work with the testing and User Acceptance Team to perform functional and user acceptance testing of solutions as per the requirements. - Liaise with Software development and quality assurance teams to ensure requirements are understood clearly. Perform data checks and validations in software solutions. - Prepare user documentation of business processes and application functionalities. - Build product demos and demonstrate the product to internal as well as external stakeholders. - Prepare Product data sheets, Product Overviews, Product Storyline, Capabilities Matrix, -Product Case Studies and other standard documentation for the Sales Team. - Trace requirements throughout the project to avoid scope creep and to ensure project requirements are being met Experience required : - B.Tech / B.E with 2-4 years of relevant work experience from a reputable institute. - M.B.A. / Masters degree in Industrial Engineering / Operations Management / Supply Chain Management / Management Information Systems Skill sets required: Technical Skills: - Business analysis skills - ability to understand business objectives and translate them into specific requirements - Should possess basic business analysis skills to elicit requirements and analyze requirements - Should have the ability to understand the business needs to identify practical, usable solutions - Basic/Good understanding of SDLC, SQL, MS Visio - Expert user of MS-office, Financial analysis and accounting - Good understanding of database design and analysis concepts is a plus
