1. Business Development & Profitability:  a. Lead and manage the large geographical (multi-state) territory across Retail Broking (both Dealing & Sales) and Investment product distribution (Inc MF, IPO and Bonds, Insurance etc) business  b. Directly supervising key areas including Business Channel Development, Team Development, Cost Management, Revenue Generation, Profit Management, Marketing and Brand Promotion.  c. To ensure achievement of business and revenue targets attributed for the Zone and responsible for the profitability of the branches as well as the whole Zone.  2. Customer Acquisition & Management:  a. Implement strategies in the Zone leading to achieve new client acquisition as per Annual Operating Plan, client retention, efficient customer service levels and focused customer engagements.  b. Organise Investor awareness program and training workshops for customers, IFA's and prospective clients.  c. Ensure compliant vetted customer communications within region and teams follow the protocols laid down for research advisory and interactions.  d. To manage customer grievance issues if any and be responsible as the first level of escalation  3. Business Liasoning & Key relationships:  a. Serve as a Primary Liasoning official with State Bank of India, LHO and other partners.  b. Deepen the relationship with customers / IFA's by regularly meetings.  4. Team Management:  a. Responsible for the development and management of the team of Area Managers, Branch Managers, Relationship Managers, Dealers, Marketing Executives and Operations Executives  b. Ensure that domain knowledge, productivity skills and capability development of the team is managed so as to meet the end objectives. Initiatives like trainings, skill developments, learning modules, certifications, online assessments etc to be driven among teams to meet this need.  c. Identify individual strength of team members for career advancement within the company or movement laterally.  d. Conduct regular performance reviews for effective monitoring and measuring of Results.  5. Compliance & Regulations:  a. Ensure compliance across dealing desks and branches.  b. Adhere to compliance guidelines implanted in organization and regularly review for 100% compliance.  c. Ensure personal visits, monitoring and inspect that region/branches meet regulatory guidelines and reported on the regulatory requirements.
