Role and Responsibilities : - Building Enterprise Operational Risk Management Framework for the organization - identify and assess significant operational risks and ensure appropriate mitigation actions are undertaken. - The Framework is deployed across Business Units, Infrastructure Groups and Control Functions - Monitoring the organization's processes, systems & permanent controls. - Maintaining an efficient control mechanism to evaluate the full scope of business activities. - Responsible for various other activities such as Audits, Reporting to Committees & Boards, Product Testing & Due Diligence Other Responsibilities : - Ensuring the adherence to regulatory, SID and internal guidelines through systemic controls - Review of internal investment templates from a risk perspective and adaptation to external risks and environment - Oversight on investment processes from a risk perspective - Controls relating to dealing room, trade allocation and best execution - Formulating policies pertaining to investment risk, risk policies, best execution and related controls - Oversight on credit risk related processes - Organising the ECR and related supporting analytics and documents - Reporting to RMCB, AMC and Trustee Board, regulator as may be required - Keeping track of market and industry developments, best practices, new regulations and knowledge sharing with the team - Analytics on relevant investment parameter. - Improving the level of automation, systemic controls, analytics through different tool Skills & Competencies : - Knowledge and application of regulatory guidelines pertaining to investments - Detailed understanding of the Business and risks associated within each area. - Knowledge of valuation guidelines and oversight from risk perspective - Thorough understanding of regulatory framework of the Industry - Ability to drive initiatives independently as well as collaborating & coordinating with a large number of stakeholders - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize; ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. - Excellent communication skills - written & verbal; ability to produce effective reports & presentations - Positive and enthusiastic attitude - Customer focus and result-oriented approach with a problem-solving attitude. Qualification & Experience - MBA & Graduate with 12+ years of Industry Experience - FRM preferable. - Strong knowledge of business processes & the markets is desirable.
