Role: Assistant Vice President - Finance, Closing & Reporting (Req Id: 12202)

Description for Candidates

AVP - Closing and reporting, responsible for accounts cloning as per Ind AS, reporting to regulators, Audit [External / Internal]

Job Description Position Responsibilities :


- Closing of books of accounts and Financial Statements

- Review of Balance Sheet, P & L , CRAR and related notes / schedule & ratios for each reporting date

- Ensure the timely preparation and presentation of Balance Sheet Pack and P/L Dasboard for CFO review Publish Balance Sheet Analysis and P & L dashboard for quarterly review based on final numbers.

- Smooth coordination with auditors (Internal & External) for timely completion of audit with no major observations.

- Balance Sheet risk management- regular understanding, monitoring, risk mitigation at CDR level Balance Sheet quality management from preparation & presentation as per applicable accounting standards and regulatory guidelines Monitoring of Open item and ensure Nil unreconciled items at each reporting date

- Reportings Ensure timely and accurately reporting to RBI & CAG as per specified timelines incliding adhoc reportings as desired Ensure smooth coordination with peer department's for inputs for reporting and validation of the same at regular interval. Review SEBI Upload Document for each reporting date and assists CS team to comply with SEBI requirement Review regulatory publication for qtrly results and coordination with CS/Legal/Compliance/Marketing team for execution

- Drive for Better Drive Automation for closing reporting to minimise manual processes so as to mitigate avoidables errors. Gaining Business process understanding for necessary IND AS & regulatory compliances by coordinating with the respective teams.

- Drive the project at inter-department level for prospective processes improvement and company level savings Work and coordinate with Risk team & Quality team on projects for process and control improvement

Personal Development:

- Develop Leadership skills - like Peer level interaction

- Measures of Success(Define the Outcomes expected of the role)


- Timely preparation and presentation of financials, with all relevant schedules & Notes Ensure proper review & maker checker controls for all RBI returns also ensure timely submitted on RBI portal.


- Timely sharing of deliverables with various auditors and ensuring smooth conduct of audit with minimal observations.


- Proper & timely coordination with Internal audit team for control design & its effectiveness testing Reviewing and Ensuring SEBI & News Paper deliverables and compliances with respect to Quarterly & annual financial statements.


- Proper coordination with all the stake holders of financials to avoid last minutes hurdle


Skills Sets Required :


- Strong technical & practical knowledge of Ind AS and its applicability Knowledge of RBI master direction and other related circulars governing NBFC's Experience of Oracle ERP , XBRL tool, MS office expertise High process orientation with intense desire to ensure no process lapses/gaps.


- Must have Qualification CA


- Total Experience Minimum 10 years


- Relevant Experience in a field Experience in closing and reporting and audit in large corporate, preferably in an NBFC. (Pl specify field and years) Preferred Industry(If any) NBFC
