The Indian pharmaceutical industry is highly fragmented with 6.5lakh retailers and 65000 distributors, unlike the US where there are just 5 major distributors covering 93% of the market share. We aim to streamline this supply chain by being a single distribution point and empower these 6.5lakh micro-entrepreneurs with technology and sustainability.
Role : National Demand Lead - Generics
We are recruiting for a Head of Sales for Generics, Ayurveda and Surgical category of Saveo. This position will be managing the Sales teams whilst exploring and overseeing new products coming into the business.
Responsibilities include :
- Maximise the sales of the generics product portfolio, increase market share, maximise profitability on all lines and achieve the overall sales & budget expectations as planned for each financial year
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the company product range, competitor strategies & pricing and any other relevant information on customers & market
- Work closely with marketing on the development of specific new product campaigns
- Identify & develop a sustainable pipeline of opportunities to include; new strengths, new products, new formulations and new brands
- Work closely with the international business development team, production team and marketing team on the assessment of and ultimately the introduction and launch of new products
What we are looking for :
- Pharma Sales Management experience (ideally Generics)
- Business Development / Launch experience (NPIs)
- Strategic success
- Experience of developing formal proposals and assessing NPV
