Savannah Seeds - Principal - Digital Experience & Strategy

This role will spearhead customer and employee-centric design strategy and execution that will be a critical part of the company's global digital transformation. As the Principal Design Strategist at RiceTec, you will be a catalyst for positive change by reframing problems through a human-centered lens and sustainable agriculture principles.

Responsibilities

- Design Thinking: Lead the development and implementation of design thinking methods and tactics to help the company achieve its business goals, including its digital transformation and sustainable agriculture initiatives.

- User Experience: Leverage strategic UX insight, profound digital expertise, and innovative design thinking to optimize user engagement and adoption.

- User Personas: Build the value map for RiceTec go to market globally and identify/define key personas and their needs, pain points, via workshops, interviews, surveys, user research.

- User Needs: Facilitate workshops along with digital training awareness and processes that extract valuable insights, result in meaningful outcomes, and inspire engagement.

- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer and employee needs, and to develop innovative solutions that are both sustainable and scalable. Take an empathetic approach with the end users when creating digital content and process - Understand the audience.

- Global Product: Define and document global needs for the product that considers the customer segments that has elements of location & multilingual.

- Product Research: Translate research findings into actionable insights and strategies.

- Communication: Communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely to various audiences, including senior executives, technical experts, and customers.

- Product Development: Overseeing RiceTec customer experience strategy and execution from start to finish by taking a holistic view of CX, working with teams such as product, marketing, and sales to ensure that all customer touch-points are consistent and effective

- Process & Value Map: Own the evolution of RiceTec's content strategy practice by defining and refining internal process, creating reusable templates, and mentoring team members.

- Product Innovation: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in design, technology, and sustainable agriculture.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience building digital products that are intuitive and have a track record of significant adoption.

- 5+ years of experience in design strategy, focusing on sustainable agriculture and digital transformation.

- Strong proficiency in working with content management tools and workflows.

- Proven ability to lead and coach cross-functional teams.

- Strong facilitation and communication skills.

- Deep understanding of human-centered design and design thinking principles.

- Experience with research methods and data analysis.

- Ability to think strategically and creatively.

- Ability to provide a portfolio demonstrating both creative thinking and the delivery of effective user experience solutions

- Experience with building solutions that surface the right content at the right time maximize the impact and deliver the business outcome.

Bonus Points

- Experience in the agriculture industry building digital solutions for farmers and advisors

- Experience designing platform-based solutions that connect two sides of the market, for example, farmers to CPG companies.

- Building product around sustainability space such as carbon marketplace.
