Business Unit Head - Herbal ( Extraction )

- Head the Operations & Business Development of Herbal Products SBU with current sales of around 5 million USD

- Business development and exploring new revenue and brand building in India & Internationally.

- Organize events/Exhibitions/B2B meetings to get new business leads

- Support the development of business unit Sales & Marketing strategy & identify business opportunities

- P&L responsibility with a mandate to transform the Herbal Division and oversee all related operations, Sales, Marketing.

- Prepare budgets for the Division, including estimates of all revenue & costs heads, for monthly, quarterly & annual plan to achieve the same.

- Responsible for Company's positioning, Account and new geographies penetration strategy, Identify market opportunities, gaps and threats.

- Responsible for existing account management and ensure customer satisfaction and account mining for additional business through efficacious customer engagement.

- Regular Coordination with production, R & D and Quality assurance for meeting customer's desired specifications for various varieties of Herbal extracts

Desired Profile :

- At least 20+ Years of experience on Herbal Products with emphasis of herbal extracts and formulations business development and Sales .

- Exposure/ understanding to US/ Japan and Asian Herbal extract market besides domestic market experience

- Bachelor's degree in science/ pharmacy preferable with post graduate qualifications in marketing/ business management or equivalent education with Herbal market experience.

- Deep understanding of herbal extraction/ herbal products & business nuances

- Possess skills to drive business growth, capitalize on new revenue potential and manage multiple aspects of daily business operations.

- Target driven, leads from the front, Good Negotiating Skills.
