The opportunity:

The Consultant will play a key role in this project. You will work closely with the Engagement Manager and a small team of 3-4 members to engage with practitioners, donors and other stakeholders, bring in innovative thinking and insights, inspire and guide the team to ensure achievement of the intended outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

- Lead and drive the successful execution of the project(s), on the dimensions of impact, customer success and experience, and on-time, on-budget and on-quality delivery.

- Build & establish credible relationships with the senior leadership of the client organisation through a strategic understanding of the client and sector context.

- Build specialization in specific vertical and horizontal focus areas that strengthen Sattva's capabilities to deliver value to our clients.

Who are we looking for?

- We are looking for exceptional individuals who align with our mission of alleviating poverty in our lifetime and have the following expertise and competencies:

Expertise:

- Expertise in conducting robust policy research and analysis

- Prior experience in consolidating knowledge products such as policy briefs and toolkits

- In-depth understanding of Indian healthcare system

- Demonstrated interest in public health and policy management through blogs or editorial articles

- Experience in facilitation of roundtable events and consultations

Competencies:

- 4-5 years of work experience, at least some of which is in client-facing roles in consulting

- Demonstrated commitment to social impact - those with work experience in the public healthcare with strong understanding and interest in RMNCHA will be given preference

- Advanced degree in development studies or public health or gender studies is preferred

- Excellent at building client relationships and managing asks - should have direct experience of working with senior and CXO level leaders

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage diverse stakeholders

- Can articulate tangible outcomes and actionable activities from ecosystem dialogues and policy narratives

- Can work with teams efficiently under tight deadlines

- Good at managing expectations and uncertainties

- Strong facilitation skills (has led partner convenings, round tables, multi stakeholder meetings)

- Demonstrable experience in knowledge synthesis and insights generation (preparing toolkits, case studies, policy papers)

- Humility, willingness to listen and learn
