Job Description :

We are looking for a Research Analyst to assist in analysis of companies/sectors in India from an investment perspective. The focus is on early stage companies though the scope may change over time. Candidate should be able to study information from public and private sources and prepare internal research reports.

Location : Mumbai

Responsibilities :

- Conduct research on company presentations, financial projections, related industry data from public sources, competitor analysis and other data in the form of reports and presentation

- Understand business and revenue models of early stage companies

- Perform comparison between industry and company competitors and conduct SWOT analysis.

- Interact with management team for investment evaluation and on an ongoing basis to promote growth

- Assist in business, legal, operational and financial due diligence

- Ability to independently evaluate and write internal research reports on companies/sectors

- Attend investment conferences and interact with founders for further investment consideration

Requirements :

- Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or focused on.

- 1-3 years of experience in company research, preferably start-ups

- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task

- Ability to write research reports independently

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Strong desire to work with early stage companies to promote their growth
